Amateur photographers of all ages are invited to submit digital photographs taken at the
Richmond Hill Winter Carnival

Contest Deadline 11:30 pm, Friday, February 9, 2024

You must register prior to submitting photos to this contest  

If you submitted in previous years, you can use your same email address to log in and submit images this year.  If you forgot your password, use the password reset facility.

Once you are logged in, go to Submission Form to submit photos

Winners will be notified and invited to attend a meeting of the

Richmond Hill Camera Club to receive their prizes

      • Action
      • Colourful
      • Entertainers
      • Faces
      • Hot or Cold 

Contest Rules:

      • Images must be taken at the Richmond Hill Winter Carnival on Feb 3 or Feb 4, 2024
      • Each photographer may submit a maximum of FIVE images with a maximum of 1 per category
      • Images submitted must be digital entries and in jpg format
      • The longest side of the image must not be more than 1024 pixels
      • Image size may not exceed 1000 KB (1 MB)
      • The submission deadline is 11:30 pm Friday, February 9, 2024

Judging Criteria:

      • Quality of work
      • Appropriateness to the Winter Carnival categories as listed above.
      • By entering this contest you attest that the images you have entered were taken by you at the 2024 Winter Carnival and comply with the contest rules
      • No commercial application of your images is expected; consequently, no model releases are required.
      • Nobody can win more than one prize

Richmond Hill Winter Carnival Committee has the right to use all images submitted for promotional and marketing purposes although the maker retains ownership and copyright and all other rights to their subsequent use.

A committee organized by the Richmond Hill Camera Club will carry out the judging of the images.  The decisions of the judges will be final.

Thank you to the Winter Carnival Committee for providing the photo contest prizes.
First, second and third place prizes in each category and one “best in show” prize will be awarded.  No entrant may win more than one prize.
